Born in Ukiah, CA to Barbara and Bob Pacini, moved to the Sacramento area at a young age and spent most of his life here. Zane graduated from Casa Robles H.S. in 1971 and was a Masonry Contractor serving the Sacramento Valley.  Devoted and beloved husband to Carole, cherished and proud Father to Brandy and Rachel (and to Ray and Eric, son-in-laws) and dedicated and loving Stepfather to Derek, adoring Grandfather “Papa” to Amber, Kaiti, Brandon, Larissa and Brooke, “favorite” Brother to Jeannie, Mickie, Ross, Kipp, Matt and France, Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, Friend to those at Bayside Church of Granite Bay, and MAYA Archers of Roseville, and sponsor to Gertrude, Juan and Eyerussalem through World Help, Compassional International and World Vision.
Zane was loved for his humor, kindness, and love for God, family, and friends. He was a craftsman and could build and fix just about anything. He enjoyed road biking, was an avid reader, bow hunter, hunter, and fisherman. Above all, Zane enjoyed spending time with his cherished family! 1. I want to again emphasize how much admiration and respect that I have for Zane for what he did for “our” son Derek over the many years that he served as an excellent hands on roll model. What he did can never be repaid but will also never be forgotten. God Bless Zane Pacini.
