Stephen “Bubba “Henry Albert Chapman

Stephen “Bubba” Henry Albert Chapman went home to be with Jesus on January 27, 2012. He was a native of Oklahoma and a resident of Roseville. After a brief illness, he passed away in Auburn at the age of 58. Stephen loved baseball, especially the New York Yankees, and collected baseball cards. He loved working in the yard and was happiest when spending time celebrating holidays and birthdays with his family. He also loved playing games, especially Rummy Cube and the dice game 10,000.

 

He is survived by his sisters Frances (Roger) Nelson and Carrie (Jim) Crotwell both of Auburn, his brother Larry (Debbie) Chapman of Denver, CO, his nieces Debbie (Tom) Wittick of Rocklin, Kristina (David) Hodge of Auburn, Gina Chapman of Denver, CO and Tammy (Paul) Beaudoin of Valencia, CA, his nephews Jamey (Lauri) Dilbeck, Kevin Fittreau, Gary Curtis Fittro and Andrew Keith (Gloria) Fittro all from Santa Clara and San Jose, CA.

 

He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews Chelsea Dilbeck, Mallory (Ben) Anacker, Britney Gold, Haley Wittick, Faith Fittro, Sydney and Piper Hodge, Trevor and Austin Wittick, Gabe and Ben Arroyo, Daniel (Lydia) and Nicholas Fittro. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Edith Chapman from Lawton, OK. Friends are invited to a Celebration of his Life at 3 pm on Saturday February 11, 2012 at Heritage Oaks Memorial Chapel, 6920 Destiny Drive, Rocklin, CA.  Inurnment will be private at the New Auburn Cemetery.
