David Lin Wilson was born August 10, 1948, in Portland, Oregon and died January 20, 2012, in Auburn, CA. He was raised in Portland, where he attended St. Charles School and Central Catholic High School. David is preceded in death by his father and mother, Jack and Jane Wilson.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathy; daughter Michelle (Skye), grandchildren Sevanah and Brian; son Michael (Cherie and her son Ryan); and brother Bob (Jon).


After serving in the United States Air Force for 20 years, David retired and settled with his wife and children in Sacramento, CA in 1989.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and looked forward to helping with the food basket program each year. David also assisted the Pendola Center summer camp program whenever possible.  He enjoyed car and computer repair but most of all he enjoyed watching movies with his grandchildren.


The memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Sacred Heart Parish located at 1040 39th Street, Sacramento, CA 95816. The internment of David’s ashes will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery located at 5810 Midway Rd., Dixon, CA 95620.
