Funeral Packages
The packages described below offer a package discount when compared to the itemized selections. These packages include selecting a casket or cremation container from Heritage Oaks Memorial Chapel. The cost of the casket or container you select will be added to the price of the package you choose. Since the packages include various types of services, no credits will be given for deletions. Any item selected that is not included in a package is considered an additional charge.
Traditional funeral service -
Includes the basic services of Funeral Director, staff and overhead; local transportation of the remains to the funeral home; secure and file the Death Certificate and Burial Permit, embalming and other preparation of the body to include cosmetics, dressing and casketing; use of facilities and staff for viewing; use of facilities, equipment and staff for funeral ceremony and committal (within 20 mile radius); funeral coach, flower van, register book gift box set (value up to $165 retail), and basic memorial video tribute.

International forwarding of remains – $2,250
Includes all items included in forwarding remains to another funeral home located in the United States plus transfer of remains to the San Francisco International Airport, consulate paperwork courier charge (not including consulate fees and document translation fees)

Professional Services –
Basic services of Funeral Director, staff & overhead – $1,150
Our services include: 24 hour availability of staff, arranging disposition details, conducting the arrangement conference, necessary clerical support, consulting with family and clergy or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our unallocated overhead costs, to include compliance with local, State and Federal regulatory requirements.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving of remains.)
Embalming – $550
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Our charge for embalming includes bathing, dressing and casketing of the deceased, as well as basic hairstyling (special hairstyles not included).
